Once I finish a new book, I always go through a few rounds of self-edits before sending it off to my trusted Beta Readers. These folks are the last line of defense, helping me catch typos, character mixups, inconsistencies, and sneaky little plot holes I might’ve missed. They play a huge part in making sure my books are the best they can be before they hit Amazon.
Right now, I’m looking to add two new dedicated beta readers to the team for my latest project.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
✅Love for reading – You enjoy getting lost in a good story.
✅Three-week timeframe – You can complete the read within three weeks.
✅ Willing to leave helpful feedback.
What kind of feedback? I’m flexible. Just share your honest thoughts as you read—what’s working, what’s confusing, what feels off to you, and why. A few inline comments and a thought or two at the end of each chapter are perfect - the tool you will be working with allows for easy feedback.
If reading early releases and helping a hardworking author shape his best work sounds like something you’d enjoy, shoot me a message at kenny@kennysoward.com with the subject line, "Beta Reader Question" without the quotes, so I know you've read everything above.
Tell me a little about yourself and why you'd be a good fit (you probably are). I'll get back to you within a day or two and let you know.
